Privacy Policy
How eSIMply collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app and website.
eSIMply LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”), company number 16172293, registered office Office 12 Initial Business Centre, Wilson Business Park, Manchester, United Kingdom, M40 8WN, operates the eSIMply mobile application and this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use our services and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use eSIMply, we may collect:
- Account and profile information — account identifiers (such as a user ID), and when you sign in, your email address and name if provided by you or by your sign-in provider (for example Apple, Google, or email link sign-in). Guest sessions may use an anonymous account identifier until you sign in.
- Purchase and wallet information — records of in-app purchases processed by Apple or Google, wallet balance activity, and package redemption history. We do not receive your full payment card details; those are handled by the applicable app store.
- eSIM and order details — destination, package selection, activation status, and related provisioning data needed to deliver service via our connectivity partners.
- Device information — information needed to operate the app and our backend services, such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, and device or installation identifiers used by our infrastructure providers (including Firebase/Google).
- Location (on device) — if you allow location access, the app may use your device’s location on the device to determine your current country and suggest relevant travel eSIM packages. We do not upload your precise GPS coordinates to our servers for storage or advertising, and we do not use location to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- Support communications — messages you send to support@esimply.app or through in-app support channels (such as WhatsApp), including any details you choose to share.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your account
- Provide, activate, and manage eSIM packages and wallet features
- Process purchases and prevent fraud or abuse
- Suggest packages for your current country when location is enabled
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
- Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and operate the service
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers — such as cloud infrastructure (including Firebase/Google Cloud) and eSIM connectivity partners that help us deliver packages and operate the app.
- App stores — Apple and Google process payments and related purchase validation for wallet top-ups.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of eSIMply, our users, or others.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect information in line with applicable privacy laws.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing. You can manage location and notification permissions in your device settings. If you deny location access, you can still browse and buy packages by choosing a destination manually.
